Two thousand and seventeen has been the year of the cockerel; punctuated by a win at our own regatta and the first three ladies to feature on the iconic Taylor Shield.
This year’s rowers’ dinner presented an opportunity bring together all our members and guests to celebrate what was a successful year. In the absence of a live band and DJ, a ghost band appeared out of the cracks, colouring in the remainder of the evening, which later featured some questionable karaoke!
Our captain, Andrew Zacharias, shall be stepping down after three years of successful leadership, grafting the club and facilities at Barry Docks into a consistent and welcoming atmosphere for all to savour.

We look forward to seeing all our members on Boxing Day morning for the scratch regatta!
