In the recent annual general meeting, many decisions were made regarding the club’s future. Club members Ella Ozkan and Mis Mintowt Czyz were welcomed to the committee, in addition to Rhys Savory and Alex Rich being appointed Captain and Vice-Captain respectively. Outgoing captain Andrew Zacharias was thanked for his large contribution over the past 3 years and committed to remain on the general committee for 2018 to help offer his expertise.

A few notable dates were also set and are as follows:

Penarth Yacht Club ‘Raise the lift’ fundraiser – 17th & 18th February 2018
Annual Quiz Night – 7th April 2018
Penarth Regatta – 22nd September 2018

The following year promises many exciting new developments; with strong committee members and new ideas, the club and its members can look forward to what is to come!
